Re-Open in XyW

Is anyone using Tim Baehr's Re-Open routines successfully with XyW 4.12?
I use it all the time with Xy 4.017 --- it allows you to reopen files
you called before --- but with XyW, the list is always filled with
repeats of the same file name (the last one opened). [It must be
something odd in the saving routine, since I can call a file on the list
and clear the list normally.]
Is there a XyW alternative?
As nearly as I can tell, XyWWWeb.U2 doesn't provide anything to help.
