italics

I recently acquired a new printer and a new problem: I've lost the ability
to print italics.

Here are my particulars:

-- XYwrite version 4.011 which I run in DOS.
-- Lexmark 5700 color inkjet printer
-- Printer driver: HPDJ500.prn
-- Fujitsu Lifebook computer

Here are the circumstances:

-- I have no problem printing bold or underlining using xywrite and this
printer.

-- I have no problem printing italics if I use WORD or NOTEPAD just
xywrite.

-- when I use "control i" to highlight the italics, the italics are
displayed in the graphic view, just not in the printing....

Any suggestions?
