Re: Spelling a la Word 7 and grammar faults

RightWriter for DOS (Grammatik also?) had an XYwrite
compatible output that did something similar.

An example from the message, tedious as the full output
is, might be interesting. You could set the parameter levels
and toggle some analyses off or on.

by this program, it automatically underlines all dubious spellings, double words and badly phrased
sentences.
has anyone thought of devising something similar for XyWrite.≪*_+MDBO;S4. IS SENTENCE TOO DIFFICULT?+MDNM; *≫≪*_+MDBO;S3. LONG SENTENCE: 44 WORDS+MDNM; *≫

I used to (when I worked in Editorial) frequently spell check an entire MSS usin g the
parent file. The command/syntax was "spell [parent file name],[output file ]".≪*_+MDBO;P6.
REVERSED PUNCTUATION+MDNM; *≫ (If no output file is given, XyWrite creates a file named
"spell.tmp"≪*_+MDBO;S20. SINGLE WORD ENCLOSED BY QUOTES+MDNM; *≫.≪*_+MDBO;P6. REVERSED PUNCTUATION+MDNM; *≫)

This would generate a regular XyWrite file named [output file] that would give a ll
questionable words in list format, divided up≪*_+MDBO;U13. REDUNDANT. REPLACE divided up BY divided+MDNM; *≫
by each file name in the parent file.≪*_+MDBO;S3. LONG SENTENCE: 30 WORDS+MDNM; *≫ For example:

File.01
Bandersnatch
Beeblebrox

File.02
whezeing
frumious
judgement

File.03
misspled
believe

I could then quickly review this file, eliminate≪*_+MDBO;S13. REPLACE eliminate BY SIMPLER
cut or drop or end?+MDNM; *≫ words I knew were correct (such as proper names), store the file,
then execute the SPell≪*_+MDBO;C1. UNUSUAL CAPITALIZATION: SPell+MDNM; *≫ command's counterpart,
"correct"≪*_+MDBO;S20. SINGLE WORD ENCLOSED BY QUOTES+MDNM; *≫!≪*_+MDBO;P6.
REVERSED PUNCTUATION+MDNM; *≫≪*_+MDBO;S3. LONG SENTENCE: 29 WORDS+MDNM; *≫
Issuing the command "correct [output file]" makes XyWrite look at ONLY the words
remaining in the [output file]
and suggest changes per the normal spell check method.≪*_+MDBO;S3. LONG SENTENCE: 27 WORDS+MDNM; *≫
When working off the parent file, XyWrite stores each succes sive file and opens the next one until
