Thank you for your response to my message 9470.  It is patient and would be a
revelation if I were a beginner. As a XyWrite user since version 1.1 I am
familiar with most of the points you make. Something in my message apparently
suggested otherwise.

I was having interment and eccentric troubles with the printer file 3LQ570.PRN.
These suggested that perhaps it was a XyWrite 4 file and incompatible with 3.5.
My question was whether this was the case and how I could convert it.

The file is now working much more consistently, as if XyWrite 3.5 had gotten
used to it. I report these things to you:
