So XyW won't be around tomorrow? Emacs Anyone?

  Are any of you XPL hackers into hacking Emacs also? Since
that's the REAL swiss army knife of word processors, and quite
configurable not to mention free -- and 32-bit, ported to
everything and anything, etc., it seems a likely candidate for
the kernel of a 21st century word smithy.
