I can't speak about notepad, but I'v had the same
problem using XYWrite to work with information
on/from the Internet. I'm attaching two files I
created to help me in German. The first
(upper128) will give the uper128 characters for
both XYW for windows and for a display on my
(netscape) Browser. The second is a conversion
file to convert the special characters I receive
via E-Mail to XYWrite. Hope they help
