It depends where you live. GSM functions better in high density
areas; Verizon's CDMA is better for sparse areas. I don't necessarily
mean the limitless prairies. Only CDMA, for example, works in much of
the Hamptons. If I'm not mistaken, up until fairly recently, Verizon
still had analogue towers -- which have the broadest range.
