There's a whole raft of low-level things to experiment with, basic debugging
stuff... You want to be running under COMMAND.COM and not CMD.EXE, for example
-- are you? I'll bet you aren't. You're using the /e switch -- do you
actually have Expanded Memory available (what does MEM/C say)?
