Thanks for your help; both problems have been solved.

I was by mistake allowing XMS to XY4; once proper EMS was defined everything
works as expected.

Widow and Orphan problem is also settled after playing with the various BT
options. I have set BTmin and BTmax equal to BTnom and my 1 line orphans have
disappeared. Will explore further this option when need arises.
