Yes, it's possible in Xy to recover deleted text. But I'm forced to agree
that for other aspects of working with a file the WinWord "undo" feature is
a good (probably the only good) thing about that program. If you (say)
change a font size or alter tab settings, Ctrl+Z will undo the change; and
repeating Ctrl+Z is like peeling the layers of an onion or, more aptly,
like excavating successive cities of Troy.

OTOH, it's only because WinWord has such incredibly obscurantist ways of
doing things (things that in XyWrite are utterly transparent) that a
comprehensive "undo" feature is indispensable in WinWord but would be
merely a nice time-saver in XyW..
