Gift from the Magi

  This may be off topic, but may be appropriate for me to send it as a
seasonal greeting.

   This was written just before midnight on Christmas day, the best gift
that the magi could give me.

    Man is seeking, whether he is aware of it or not, for that simple
truth that will erase all misconception and superstitions that even today is
preventing him from reaching his highest potential in thought and deed.

    It is in consciousness that man's full power lies. By being
impartially aware of our relationship with the realities of life we will no
longer be influenced by tradition, present theories or what is written in a
book, no matter how divine or holy it is considered. Although we can examine
these sources, this new found awareness or attunement will enable us to
discover truth and the wonders of life for ourselves.

    The secret is of course to give control back to the instinctive
energy within us. We must let it do its work without constantly interfering
with its operations. This can only come about when we learn what to eat or
when we should eat. Unless we master this truth, we have not made the first
step in our journey towards the light and enlightenment.

    When we learn this truth we will in one foul swoop erase all the
fallacies related to our body and health such as the naming of our symptoms,
the use of drugs and supplements and blaming the effects of wrong eating and
living on germs, viruses and bacteria, or thinking by indulging in physical
exercises that our problem will be solved. At the same time all the theories
related to protein, calories and metabolism will be eradicated. When we
learn to live on those few foods which do not saturate our inner structure
with wastes and unusable substances, we will realize that our immediate and
basic needs are few indeed. This alone will simplify and streamline our
existence in every possible way.

     Life's simple secret has immense possibilities beyond our wildest
expectations and its surveillance is all embracing as it does not depend on
the laboratory or technology for its revelations. For one thing the removing
of untruths will free us from unnecessary fear and uncertainty.

    Our habits and thoughts are usually so imperfect and out of
alignment that we are unable to synchronize and utilize the simple secret.
 The gift of understanding is our greatest treasure and the best gift that
can be given. This gift is not based on belief and having faith.
