Re: Through my looking glass...

Thanks. I've unchecked HTML and, for the third time, tried to
eliminate, eradicate, the "One person..." signature. Please, let me
know if it continues to appear.

The New England weather is, as you may have heard or know,
manic-depressive. The heat of the day seemed ironically noteworthy (to
me) because of the date -- December 7, which, in 1941, was the day this
country, attacked by the Japanese, became active participants in "the
War to end all Wars." Does it not seem strange (Alice-like) that the
day will forever be remarked for its heat by meterologists long after
the date has been relegated to just another footnote in the history of
man? Like Alice through her looking glass, I'm bemused. Not only do
most men/women not learn and apply from history in the wider plain, but
few learn even on the smaller field -- or there would be no MS 2000.
The herd follows the cow with the loudest bell, etc. Thank goodness
there is still that thinking remainder and xywrite.

Excuse my rambling. Reason: Hit a low note in the book I've been
editing/re-writing. Promise not to do it again. Understand
time/value.

Thank you for your forbearance.
