Yes-- when we took over the product, the senior developers joined us and
some of them are still with us.

Wow, that's good news. I was always very impressed with what Dave and
the others did with XyWrite back in the beginning. I remember one time I
was on the phone with him in 1983 while he led me through a debug
session to patch XyWrite II+ to recognize the then-new Microsoft Mouse.
Imagine speaking to the head of a software company in that way.

And no, Ken, I promise not to call you personally the next time I find a bug
in the program!

P.S. - on another note, I was in a committee meeting where we discussed
HMTL and the problems of using a word processor to write HTML code. I
piped up and said that the next version of XyWrite will have some
capabilities in that regard. One of the techie guys beamed and said
"XyWrite! Wow, I remember that one! It was a fabulous product! You mean
it's still around?" When I told him there was a very good Windows version
with a new one forthcoming me made me promise to keep him informed
about it. We may even pick XyWrite as our authoring tool for our web site,
depending on how the situation pans out. It seems to me that the new
"smart documents" features of your new product would serve our needs
nicely.
