Re: vDosXy - Easy clipboard solution the EditPad way

There is another way to approach the clipboard without no additional
routines. If you use Editpad Lite (http://www.editpadlite.com/), you can
share and edit text with Xy without any additions.

In EditPad, go to Preferences, Open Files, check 'Automatically reload
the active file if it was modified on disk'. In Options, Configure File
Types, create a new file type, e.g. xy, choose DOS 437 encoding for xy.

In XyWrite, put a AB, CALL sequence in your keyboard file.

Now, edit the same file in Xy and EditPad at the same time. All changes
are reflected in EditPad automatically and what you see is ASCII, and
the same effect can be produced in Xy with the AB, CALL sequence. All
edits appear in Xy when you refresh the file from disk. When you paste
text from Windows to an EditPad xy file, the encoding will be correct in
Xy (e.g. upper ascii chars, even from UTF-8).
