Harry:
If your Xy file is short enough, you could try copying the message to the clipboard and
then pasting it into the notepad. (You have to have XyWrite running in a window for
that.) Or save the file as ascii using the filter and open that in notepad. Or highlight
the text you want and do a save-select (SAS or SAD) to a new file and open that in notepad
(I'm not sure that'll eliminate the EOF or the garbage after it).
