This problem, and a workaround for it, were discussed here some months ago. At XySearch (http://users.datarealm.com/xywwweb/xysearch.cgi), do a search for "JM 2.GetXyOSQ2".
Thanks, that's just the kind of solution I was thinking of. But it doesn't seem to allow U2 to function. That is, I substitute for the JM in NBSTART.INT the line ≪sv652,W98≫ and I still get the aforementioned strange result from help [whatever]. Yet , and the same from help xstreet. Strangely, some U2 commands do work and some do not. E.g., xstreet works but when I try unputcr, I get "no file" on the prompt line. Maybe Leslie, who uses NBWIN a lot, has gotten U2 v. 114 to work?
