It's always hard to know how to describe a programming language. If Perl
could be typified as powerful yet arcane, Tcl could be typified as
user-friendly and verbose. In terms of what it can do, I think Perl comes
out ahead. In terms of being easy to use, Tcl is better. Another
difference: Object-oriented programming is built into Perl, but with Tcl
you have to get an extension.
