Re Ink-stained wretch

I doubt that Dr J coined that phrase. Surely it would be in the Oxford
Dictionary of Quotations? And it is not.
Hmnn. It is a bit old, anyway. As a former ink-stained wretch the advent of
XyWrite and Atex meant that quill and inkpot* got consigned to the attic.

What would you call us now?
(* Oh, alright, typewriter and ribbons. But you could still get stained
from the ribbon when trying to untangle the keys ...)
