Re: .Prn Flakeyness

Dear Jim,
Well, I don't mind sending you all that stuff, but if it's that complex,
maybe it's not worth the trouble. For one thing, I load a file produced by
STSGT in my startup.int, so I assume you couldn't see from that what is going
on. Which raises a related question: is there anyway to retrieve XPL code from
a STSGT file (I'm willig to use Debug if necessary)? I thought it would be a
good idea to use the STSGT file rather than load 12 programs in startup.int
with individual LDPM statements, but the downside is that you never really know
what's in that file, so when you want to modify the pgms you are loading, you
are working blind (I have all the original XPL pgms on my disk, but I don't
even remember which of the 400 or so I've got are the ones I put into the STSGT
file!).
The problem occurred in Xy3 (several versions, up through the last) and now
occurs in Xy4Dos, so it can't be due to the version. I shudder to think that it
has to do with the stuff in my autoexec.bat and config.sys files (e.g., I use a
very old version of QEMM). So I'll enclose my current startup.int for Xy4, and
maybe you can see something either relevant or worthy of some other comment
therein.
  Thanks,
  Harry
