SAVE/GETS IN DLG

XY-> Steve C. wanted to know what the S/Gs are in the DLG file in
XY4 (XYW is th

-> 2. S/Gs from 01 to about 35 were used and reused extensively, usually witho
-> much thought to making them firm assignments.

Incidentally, what was the logic in using double-digit (let alone
triple-digit) SGs in the DLG instead of 4-digit SGs?

The 2- or 3-digit ones could interfere with user programming,
while the advantage of using 4-digit SGs in a large program would
be to make tracking easier during debugging.
