Xy-OS/2 File Manager is a complete interface between XyWrite IV|XyWrite for
Windows, and HPFS (OS/2's "High Performance File System"). Xy-OS/2 FM
permits long HPFS file and directory names (up to 255 characters in length)
to be manipulated transparently using XyWrite. Files can be opened in a
window, edited, saved, etc.  All basic file-handled functions are enabled.
Xy-OS/2 FM also handles FAT 8.3 files and directories.

Xy-OS/2 File Manager emulates the following FAT functions with HPFS files:

 DIR2 Display DIRectory
 NE2  Open NEw file
 CA2  CAll existing file
 ME2  MErge file into *any* XyWrite window
 SA2  SAve file
 AB2  ABort file|directory
 DEL2 DELete file
 IN2  Report INformation about current Xy-OS/2 Files
