I don't think so. There's a MoDe FN, but that only affects the color
of the footnote number at the bottom of the page when you print to
screen. And there's a default SC which is supposed to have something
to do with superscript footnote numbers, but changing it seems to have
no effect. So it seems that the color of footnote superscripts is
joined at the hip with the setting for MoDe SU.
