Re: Mac and Xy

I'm a (lousy) pianist and touch typist, but after considerable experience,
I still find it waaaay inferior to a mouse--inferior in terms of the
mousing around part, it's better in regard to not having to take your hands
off the "home keys," of course.

Yup, most people didn't like it. But unlike mice, trackball and trackpads, it was/is always right there in the middle of the home keys. As a pianist and touch typist, I liked that feature. Myron On 10-Aug-09, at 12:25 PM, flash wrote:
Myron, ≪I'm even in that tiny category of people who love IBM's little "trackpoint" in the middle of the keyboard. ≫ You mean the "teet"? I never could get used to that.
