Hyperterminal

I have used three terminal emulation programs from Windows 9x, NT4, and
w2k platforms, but not with XP. My experience has been that hyperterm is
buggy with all of them, a different bug each time. My recommendation is
to use another terminal emulation program. I use teraterm. It is
freeware, available from
http://www.teraterm.com

or I'll send you a zipped copy.
