I have been hoping for several years that XY would mimic the file
management setup in NotaBene 4. There is not much else in that
miserable beta-sold-as-program that I miss, but the ability to
choose from a list of files and do practically anything you could
possibly want to the chosen one is the best of any word processor
I have ever used. I hope that the next version of XY will offer
something even better.

I am not, by the way, trying to start an extended discussion with
people who like NB, or who believe that it has been fixed since
Siebert took over again. I assume it has been, if the company
has not gone out of business. I am only talking about the version
that I was sold more than 3 years ago and that the company,
despite its written guarantee, refused to give me a refund on
although they never sent me anything but preliminary
documentation.
