Maybe. Probably. I found it hard to visualize the file structure
based on the description provided, i.e., wasn't sure whether "each
of the other aliases under a (2,3,4 ...) and the other aliases at
the second level (bar & zlits) have their own expansions" means that
a single e-mail address can be linked to multiple aliases, or (more
likely) a single alias can have multiple addresses, or whether the
format dictates that the correspondence between aliases and
addresses must always be one-to-one -- and how it all looks. If
every alias on every level ultimately gets a line that looks like
alias foo Mr. Foo 
then it shouldn't be too hard to write an XPL routine to extract a
list of all aliases and the associated names and addresses. But I
suspect the problem is more complicated than that.
