My experience is that the UD dialog box is flukey; it can lose stuff.
There's a setting -- I've lent my manuals out, so I can't check -- that
makes UD act just like in Xy3; that is, just one level of undo. That should
bypass the UD box and behave reliably, if in somewhat limited fashion. Would
that work for you?
