First (laptop to folo) setup:

DELL GX260
XP PRO SP2 Build 2600 (NB: user installed after full HD reformat)
BIOS Intel A09 11/1/2004

XYDOS straight: cursor extremely jerky, halting and so forth.
XY/TAME 4.5 got everything to work save CLIP
XY/TAME 5.0 CLIP restored. Cursor lighting fast, no jerkiness. Cursor
sometimes slows to crawl with tasks, like spelling and multiple
window copying. Quitting and restarting XY cure it. Note please there
are settings in TAME settings files that can be used to address this.
Experimentation required. Bottom line: writing a book using this
setup, working everyday with very long multiple files open and
copying frequently from WIN clipboard.
