Most certainly it needs consistency, but if we're all using the same set
of styles, wouldn't we have that? But the CG obviously used a LOT of
Styles: The Top-Level header (e.g., Preface, Cutsom Commands, etc.); the
2d-level ones (on p. 8, Purpose, Action); the regular text; numbered
lists; sample commands--all with different IP values. Note that Notes
are Cap and Small, like the 2d level heads, but smaller still. So I'm
afraid I don't see how one could just CI (or even CV) to tag all of
them. Even if you decided to Change all instances of Purpose to
≪USH2≫Purposetab≪USBT≫, you'd probably need to make that CV, just in
case the phrase "the purpose of this" occurs somewhere in text.
By the bye, if you really have those original styles, maybe we'll find
a quick and easy way to do Cap and Small, since that was obviously part
of the SS command for the 2d-level heads.

If one always works at one site and one site only, then no, one doesn't
need the PDF. But I use Xy on two laptops, two desktops at home, a
desktop at the office, and probably eventually on one at the borough
Emergency Operations Center. Schlepping the manuals back and forth to
the office is a real pain, and I inevitably need the manual for
something when I'm in one place and the manual's in the other.
