Thanks, everyone, for the interest in my printer problem. The material Lisa sent is somewhat helpful. Someone in that aggregation of printer information uses a Brother 1040 which is what I have. But I use a USB connector and I guess that means the LPT1 mode doesn't work. Can XY3.5 ever print through a USB connector?
And even this person didn't say exactly what .prn file to load in my startup.int file.
