Nope, not so. Whatever codepage you use, you are limited to 256
characters, while the XY-4/XY-Win set extends to over 800. Something
has to give.
Also, no codepage except the Scandinavian ones has the O slashes --
Microsoft choose to forget them completely (maybe they thought one
"diameter" symbol is enough).
