Off-topic: Backing up non DOS files in Windows 98

When you say "Windows 98 only offers me the option of copying to a disk
in Drive A," do you mean that Windows doesn't recognize your ZIP drive AT
ALL (i.e., when you click on My Computer, there's no Drive E: at all)? or
just that it's there but you're having problems copying to it?
If the former, you do have to copy from DOS. If not, you can copy from
Windows. Exactly how to do either depends a lot on what kind of files
you're trying to copy and where they are. If they're all in only a few
directories, or the directories are all subdirs of one other, things will
be much simpler than if they're scattered all over the place. Give us
some more specifics, and we'll find a way. But I would definitely look
into getting the Iomega files to make the ZIP drive recognizable by
Windows if it isn't now.
