No, Xyvision never had anything to do with XyWrite or XyQuest. Neither did
Syquest or whatever that company is that does mass storage
devices. XyQuest was founded by two engineers from Atex, a
company that produced composition software for the newspaper
industry. XyWrite, so far as I know, is still used by many
newspapers and magazines as their typesetting "front end."
