Perhaps we should elucidate for XyWriters: this term means
Expanded view (func XP).
Were they, perhaps, borrowing the terminology from WordImPerfect,
which calls its poor relation "Reveal Codes"? (Better than
anything in any other Windows word processor--e.g., Weird--but
hopelessly frustrating to a XyWriter: you can SEE what's mucking
up your text, but 9 times out of 10 you can't do a replace,
except manually, one at a time.)
