There was some third party s/w for generating font width tables for XY 3.5x,
which did streamline the process. Can't recall the name just now. I
probably still have it somewhere, though I have no idea whether it has any
carryover validity for XY-4. Probably not. In the case of Xy4DOS, it's all
mainly Speedo. You are supposed to still be able to use Soft Fonts, such as
those generated by the SoftCraft Font Solutions Pack (a big suite of app.s &
util.s that cost 500 bucks in its day), but I have a feeling that doing this
would be cumbersome and convoluted, to say the least. Xy4Win probably
doesn't need anything other than standard Windows fonts, but I wouldn't know
about that.

Please do.
