Are you consulting the U2 Help facility? E.g.:

 HELP CLIP

There are sometimes additional things you need to do, e.g. install external
utility CLIP.EXE in order to Copy/Paste. A great source of info about these
matters is the archive of *all* XyWrite maillist messages since 1994, and many
others from 1989 onward, XySearch:

 http://www.holmgren.org/Xy/Search

The searchable database contains nearly 28,000 messages, covering a
mind-boggling array of topics.

For starters, try this command:

 TEST-INSTALL

If that doesn't generate a response, then something fundamental is wrong. Did
you read, and follow the instructions, in file README.HTM, in XYWEB119.ZIP?
