Re: YES Xy3 on IPAQ PDA

I offer the following for those interested or just curious:
Here are some screen-shots & photos showing my HP IPAQ HX2750 operating Xy3 from an SD Card NO MODIFICATION to Xy pgm are needed.
Thanks. Very cool! I would suggest saving space by: 1. using the no ruler
function (NR) per my previous post, 2. using Tame to get smaller, but
clear, fonts, so you can see everything on one screen w/o scrolling.
It's fantastic that you can use Bluetooth external keyboards with it. Ever
tried that roll-up rubber one? I'm wondering if extended typing of emails
is feasible this way when traveling light.
There is no speed lag or delay - Xy operates as if on a DOS machine.
What about running a timing test executing XPL? You know, a loop with 1000
CIs or something like that? E.g., to make a meaningless one up. The
following (assuming you have U2's DECODE) takes two seconds to run on my
system:

XPLeNCODE v2.0
b-gin [UNTITLED]
{<}SX01,1{>}{<}SX02,200{>}{<}GLA{>}[cr|lf][cr|lf]Now is the t
ime for all good men to come to the aid of their party.[cr|lf
][cr|lf]{<}LBA{>}[TF_][BC_]se /good men/[XC_]{<}IF{<}ER{>}{>}
{<}GLB{>}{<}EI{>}[PW_][NW_][TF_][BC_]ci /good men/good men/[X
C_]{<}if{<}er{>}{>}{<}GLB{>}{<}ei{>}[BF_][TF_][BC_]ci /good m
en/good men/[XC_][LB_][LE_][LB_]{<}IF{<}PV01{>}<{<}PV02{>}{>}
{<}SX01,{<}PV01{>}+1{>}{<}GLA{>}{<}EI{>}{<}LBB{>}[BC_]I'm don
e.{<}EX{>}[cr|lf]

XPLeNCODE

If you don't have DECODE, here it is in a more human form:

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party.
TF BC se /good men/XC PW NW TF BC ci /good men/good men/XC BF TF BC ci /good men/good men/XC LB LE LB ≪PV02≫+1>BC I'm done.
You understand that the two letters followed by the spaces represent PFUNCs
I hope.
If you can run this and get an approximate time, I'd appreciate hearing how
long it takes.
