OS2 Warp vs Win95 -Reply

I'm an OS/2 fanatic, and have used it since version 2.0. I have both
OS/2 and Windows 95 installed on all my computers, since some
programs I use for work are 95/NT specific programs.

XyWrite (both DOS and Windows) work fine under OS/2, and if
you're a tinkerer you can fiddle around with settings and such to do
some neat stuff. For example, I have several folders on my desktop
which correspond to specific projects I'm working on. Suppose I am
working on several files on a project, and then go on to do
something else. The next time I return and open the folder for that
project, OS/2 will launch XyWrite and load the file I was last working
on.

Unfortunately, the Industry seems to be passing OS/2 by. Several of
us several years ago tried to convince Kenny Frank to port XyWrite
to OS/2, to no avail.

I am struggling with a problem of trying to get XyWin to run
satisfactorily
in high resolution modes under Win95 (it will not read the
OEMFONTS.FON
setting in SYSTEM.INI). Reading some of the traffic in the users
group, I
infer that a few people use OS2 Warp as their operating system.
This
appears to have some advantages as far as XyWrite and XyWin are
concerned,
but how does it function with other general software? I currently use
the
Microsoft Network for internet communications, together with
Outlook
Express, some Win3xx/Win95 dictionarites, and Encyclopedia
Britannica which
only runs under Win95. How will I get on by shifting these to OS2?
