Re: archiving



Archiving programs were necessary a few years ago for sending XY
and other formatted files through the internet. All you have to
do now is to attach the file to an email message. If your email
program can't do that, you might want to think about using
Netscape, which combines excellent web browsing, email, news, and
HTML editing features in one program. You can also do it with
Internet Explorer, but it is much larger, uses a separate program
for email, and is susceptible to all sorts of viruses. Both are
free. If you download Netscape, I don't recommend getting the
beta of v. 6. In Beta 2, it is still highly unstable.
