A Simple XyWrite Command

There is a simple XyWrite command that will sum up a column of
numbers that has been defined, and print out that sum. Alas -- I
recently moved, cannot at the moment lay hands on my copy of the
XyWrite instructions (I'm running 3.57, by the way), and can't
remember that simple command. (I do remember how to do it on the
command line: [number]+[number]= . . . and out comes the sum.)
I would very much appreciate it if someone would remind me of
that command.
