a little advice from someone whose company has made all the mistakes possible
in the support business ... people can wait for a solution but they won't
wait happily with no response. your tech support people ought to be able to
respond to any question here within hours of reading it. okay, sometimes all
the'll be able to say is that they don't know but will check it out, but they
need to answer. if they have an idea what the problem is but need to check it
out further, well that can be said too. if after a reasonable time they still
don't have an answer, another message saying whether they're still working on
it or have given up would be well received too.
