Screen colors

When did this thread of screen colors start? I missed the beginning.
More important, how does one get interesting screen colors? I've done
so in Xy3; is it done the same way in Xy4? I.e., some statements at
the beginning of the .PRN file saying things like 'MD UL 36'?
I'll tell you my colors -- and the numbers that produced them -- if
you tell me yours. I'd like to try dark green on pale yellow, for
instance.
