NBWIN instability

I find NBWIN 8.0F to be radically unstable. I wonder if others have, too.
Doing anything the least unconventional (such as running the SE2 program)
not only locks the program up, you can't kill the app in Task Manager. The
only way to kill it is to kill the ntvdm process.
Your experience?
