Well, if I had my druthers, I'druther that column tables were sent to that
great formatting campground in the sky. They are an INCREDIBLE strain on page
logic, and cause no end of anguish for programmers, tech support folk, and
users. But they are the only way to go in certain text situations. No,
footnotes are here to stay; I was just trying to make a point about how
heartwrenching the demise of auto replace was.
