Actually, as I understood it, Marguerite's question had to do with
installing a second printer, not a replacement. If so, deleting
lines wouldn't seem to be the thing.

There's some critical information we don't have about Marguerite's
setup: Is she using XyWrite-only, Xy-or-Windows, or Windows-only
printer services (command UWF 0, 1 or 2, respectively; VA/NV $WF to
check current status), and does it make a difference in whether the
second printer is recognized? Also, what port is the second printer
hooked up to, and is XyWin even capable of finding it?

If UWF=0 or 1 (enabling Xy printer drivers and fonts), a PP:# table
should be loaded (typically as part of XWSET.DFL, but could be in
another ;PR; file). That table should contain a line that points to
the second printer by port[tab]printer_file[tab]printer_description.
The number immediately after PP: must equal the total number of
lines in the table. To select one of the listed printers, command
SETP # (substituting for "#" the number of the line in the PP:#
table that points to the desired printer), or use the menus (File,
pRinter setup, select desired printer).

I don't have enough experience with XyWin or Windows printing to
diagnose the problem, but these basics may point the way.
