in response to nathan's query about nt: before converting to linux on my desktop i ran xydos4.017 under nt, and it worked very well. i recall no serious problems. but what you said about the hoginess and imensity of nt is quite true, and i also found it to be slow. it was quite stable, for a ms os. arthur
