I need a new desktop computer -- Recommendations?

I am looking at purchasing a new desktop. I do graphics (Adobe products).

What's the best product out there? (My son works for HP and may a discount).

That's the most detailed story, but it's running everywhere at this point - Reuters, CNN, NYT, WSJ etc
