Hi Patricia,

I wonder if all of that other stuff in Properties
(Memory, Misc., & the other tabs) likewise fails to
take in 2K / XP, unless we do it this way ?

Yes, it works. (But some of the settings / checkboxes
are a bit different here.) Thanks.

I presume this also applies to Xy-3 under 2K or XP ?

Again, not what I saw. But I worked it out.

So, bottom line, now I have 25 line, 12-pt. Lucida
Console. I don't know how it compares with Siebert
fonts , but it's quite readable, and a vast
improvement over what I've had before. The funny
thing is that I have this vague recollection of having
done a fix like this for a couple of _other_ users'
Xy-under-later-Win installations, though never for my
own, after which I completely lost track of it. Ah
well, they say memory is the second thing to go . . .
.

I'll save this in the UserTips Reference folder.
There are several other unimplemented tweaks on my Xy
"TO DO" List, but this gets it off to a good start.
