As to DOS itself, the last version I know of was IBM PC-DOS 2000,
which had the Y2K fixes. It is the one I run here in my first C:
partition, as my older version of System Commander requires that
it live in an initial DOS partition in order to do its thing.
(Don't know if this still holds true for more recent versions of
SC.) I don't actively visit that boot option much, unless I
happen to need to run something under real DOS, but I'm glad it
is there, just in case.

If you need it, it may be difficult to find this DOS on the shelf
anywhere these days, but it is probably still available online.
Check CNET Shopper.

If you need any help with this stuff, basic explanations, etc.,
please don't hesitate to ask.
