Re: Re-formatting from Vista to XP

My sincere, non-perfunctory "Thank you" to each of you who responded with
help on this.

I'm wondering if the ideal would be a dual boot system, with both Vista
and XP. With that, I could compare the (anticipated) speed degradation
when using Vista. Plus, if Vista turns out unsympatico, I would have XP
running.

But, I don't know if this is feasible. The Sony salesman at CompUSA said
that if I reformatted and reinstalled XP, I'd have to download and install
the machine's hardware-specific drivers from the Sony site, but that they
are available there. I guess that would apply to a dual-boot Vista/XP
installation as well.
